A challenging inner city primary school have approached the agency in order to speak to candidates who are interested in working at least 2.5 days a week. The role will be to start from January and run indefinitely until further notice (expected to be at least until July 2018). The Head teacher has informed us that she is keen to appoint a teaching assistant who has good KS1 experiences and preferably someone who has experience working with Read Write Inc. Phonics. It is also key that the applying candidates have a good standard of written and spoken English; as a number of the children who attend school come from Asian heritage and Eastern European backgrounds.

The behaviour in school is considered to be challenging and this is a result of the catchment areas from which the children attend school. The majority of children are on Free School Meals and with this the school have to show progress especially in academic and social development.
