Are you wishing to gain invaluable experience before considering a secondary teacher training course? Do you have a degree, or A Levels in English, Mathematics or Science? If so, Teaching Personnel want to hear from you.

Due to an increased demand this academic year, Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for aspiring secondary teachers located in Wigan to work within secondary schools on full-time, part-time and ad-hoc positions as a Cover Supervisor/Teaching Assistant.

Positions currently available in Wigan include:

- Cover Supervising: Flexible work covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher with pre-planned work. Cover Supervising is suitable for Graduates, Sports Coaches and those with experience leading a group of people. Cover Supervising also provides invaluable experience prior to completing a teacher training course as skills will include behaviour management and classroom presence.

- Teaching Assistant: Teaching Personnel are currently working with two large secondary Academies in Wigan with temporary gaps within their support department. Both positions are full-time and will incorporate providing whole class support across the curriculum and key stages.

Teaching Personnel are working with over ten secondary schools across Leigh, Wigan, Orrell, and Ashton-in-Makerfield with varying requirements. The schools range from Ofsted graded 'Outstanding' to more challenging environments. Support staff will be fully supported throughout each position and additional training will be available through the Teaching Personnel CPD Academy.
