Welsh Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for  confident Learning Support Assistants, to work in Welsh Medium Primary schools within the Cardiff area.

The ideal candidate must have a have experience of working within primary aged children or have the desire to have a career in education.

You may be required to support pupils on a one to basis so experience in this field would be advantageous, but not essential.

We are looking for applicants who have:

• Fluent Welsh speaker

• Experience working in a busy environment

• Recent experience in a classroom environment

• Coaching experience

• Relevant degree (working with children, young adults, SEN, mental health)

• An excellent track record

• Good knowledge of the national curriculum

• Strong interpersonal and people management skills

• Flexibility and adaptability to work short-term and long-term
