Job Title: Primary School Teacher (Fluent Welsh Speaker)
Location: Swansea, South Wales
Salary: M2 Scale £166.32 daily rate
Contract Type: Full-time

A welcoming Welsh-medium primary school in the Swansea area is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a vibrant, community-focused school where the Welsh language and culture are at the heart of everything we do.

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging, inclusive lessons across the primary age range in line with the Curriculum for Wales.
  • Use the Welsh language confidently and naturally as the main medium of instruction.
  • Create a positive, supportive learning environment that nurtures each child’s potential.
  • Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the wider school community.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Be a fluent Welsh speaker, both spoken and written (essential).
  • Have a passion for bilingual education and a strong commitment to promoting the Welsh language and culture.
  • Be creative, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality teaching.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
