Welsh Medium Teaching Assistant

We are calling all teaching assistants who are looking for work in the Welsh Medium Primary Schools!!
Teaching Personnel are actively looking for enthusiastic and friendly teaching assistants who can work with pupils of all ages and abilities within a classroom setting in the Newport, Blaenau Gwent, Torfaen or Caerphilly area. If you have relevant experience or just even have a real desire to get into working in a school, register with us; we have work for you!
The ideal candidate will:
- Provide specific support to pupils within the mainstream classroom setting or a special educational facility;
- Be fluent in welsh;
- Establish good relationships and interact with the pupils appropriately in line with their individual needs;
- Ensure the safeguarding of the pupils under your care;
- Provide feedback to teachers on the pupils' progression from day to day.

Applicants must : - Have the legal right to work in the UK - Hold a Child Workforce Only DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one - full assistance provided) - Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (compulsory requirement in Wales) - please note that if you are living in England, you can still register with the EWC which will give you the opportunity to work on both sides of the border - Provide at least two professional or character references - Be available to interview and/or trial asap - Be available to start on short notice - Be living in Cardiff and/or have plans to move to Cardiff in the near future and/or be willing to travel to Cardiff
