We are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants across Falmouth!

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a number of fantastic primary schools in the Falmouth area who are seeking additional support with SEN pupils. We are looking to recruit able teaching assistants who are available full-time to cover temporary and permanent vacancies across Truro and surrounding areas.

You will need to have previous SEN experience, ideally with Autism, Aspergers and challenging behaviour. Additional training including Makaton, Team Teach, Manual Handling and PECS would be advantageous but not essential as you will have access to an outstanding CPD academy. School based experience is required but we will consider applications from candidates who have worked in other settings including support workers.

Our client schools are looking for candidates who are experienced, friendly, adaptable and who can provide consistency and stability for vulnerable students. We can offer both full and part time roles across all age groups so please apply even if full-time isn't what you are looking for.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
