About the Teaching Assistant Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be a key part of the classroom, supporting both staff and students across various subjects and year groups. This role is perfect for anyone hoping to gain valuable experience in education or take their first step toward a teaching career.
Key Responsibilities
  • Providing 1:1 support for students needing additional assistance
  • Supporting teachers with lessons, classroom organisation, and resources
  • Helping maintain positive behaviour and a safe, engaging environment
  • Encouraging and motivating students in their learning
  • Working flexibly across different classes as needed
  • Supporting students with a range of needs, including Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Experience with SEN is a bonus but not required. Several partner schools have SEN bases, and you may be asked to support within these areas. Full guidance can be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
