eaching Assistant - SEN Support
Teaching Personnel are working with a mainstream primary school in Poole, who are seeking a full time Teaching Assistant to work 1-1 with pupils in Key Stage 1 with additional needs. The role is five days per week, Mon - Fri. Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm. This role is due to start from April 2022 until at least July 2022.
The role would be supporting the Key Stage 1 class Teacher and pupils. You will be responsible for prepping pupils work, running interventions and 1-1 booster sessions and supporting the pupil's wellbeing. The pupil shows signs of autism so previous experience supporting children or adults with similar needs would be ideal but not essential.
The Role:
- Full time, Monday - Friday
- Hours approximately 8:30am - 3:30pm
- KS1 Teaching Assistant
- SEN Support
- £325 - £350 per week
- Poole, Dorset
Responsibilities:
- Providing support within the classroom wherever required
- Delivering activities on one-to-one or small group basis
- Ensuring children are engaged
- Adapting to every individual pupil’s needs
- Helping with behaviour management of children
- Creating displays of children’s work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
