Cover Supervisors - Unqualified Teachers / PGCE applicants / Graduates
Are you looking to get into teaching? Do you want to get experience of working with students but are unsure where to start?
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for Cover Supervisors to work on a daily basis for both short and long term. This can provide flexibility to your new Cover Supervisor role as several partnered secondary schools in the Bournemouth and Poole area are currently recruiting on a part-time/full-time basis. As a cover supervisor you will be required to ensure that the students are getting on with their work as you cover the absence of the secondary school's staff member.
This can allow you to choose when and where to work, enabling you full flexibility of the full-time/ part-time cover supervisor role. As a cover supervisor this could support your future decision to move into teaching as it can be a platform to enhance your teaching skills and secondary education knowledge. We also have a Future Teachers Programme where you can gain your PGCE and QTS over 2 years whilst getting PAID and working as a Cover Supervisor at our training school!
Schools are increasingly relying on more Cover Supervisors as a way to cover the teacher's absence. The role of a cover supervisor is to supervise and manage a classroom in the absence of a class teacher. As a Cover Supervisor you will ensure pre-prepared class work is complete and to manage students behaviour in accordance with school guidelines.
Highlights of this Cover Supervisor post;
**Pay ranging from £285-300 per week, paid on a weekly basis
**Flexible position to suit your needs with the FT/PT positions available
**Platform to enhance your career further in education and gain valuable experiences.
**Ongoing training courses, CPD opportunities and Teacher Training through our PAID Future Teachers Programme
We are keen to hear from graduate calibre candidates or candidates with behavioural management experience with a keen interest in working within Secondary Schools. You must be confident of your abilities within a classroom based environment and have the ability to build relationships with pupils and the other staff members.
To register your interest you will need to upload your latest CV.
