Teaching Personnel
Role: SEND Teaching Assistants
Schedule: Flexible & Full Time
Start date: September 2025
Location: Bristol
Pay rate: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)
We are seeking a dedicated and flexible SEND Teaching Assistant to join our passionate and inclusive primary school community starting in September 2025. The successful candidate will support children with a range of special educational needs, working closely with class teachers and the SEND team to ensure every child can access learning and reach their full potential.
Our school is located in the Bristol area known for its strong sense of SEN community, inclusive ethos, and commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment where all pupils can thrive. This role requires patience, creativity, and adaptability, as you will work across different year groups depending on the needs of the children. Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable, but not essential.
The ideal candidate:
- Experience working with SEND (Family or Friends with SEN?) previously in education or Care background
- Can deliver a calm, empathetic and positive approach to children across all ages in EYFS and Primary
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant qualifications are desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
