Cover Supervisors Wanted – RCT Schools

£120 Per Day | January Start | No Teaching Qualification Needed

Are you confident, reliable and great with young people?
We are recruiting Cover Supervisors to work in supportive, well-established secondary schools across Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT) from January. Full-time and long-term roles available.

This is a fantastic opportunity if you're considering a career in teaching, already working in education, or simply want a rewarding and consistent role in schools.


What the Role Involves

  • Supervising classes in the absence of a teacher

  • Delivering prepared lesson materials (no planning required)

  • Keeping pupils on track and maintaining classroom routines

  • Supporting pupils across different subjects

  • Building positive relationships and contributing to a calm, productive environment


What You Need

  • Experience working with young people (sports coaching, youth work, mentoring or school-based roles all welcomed)

  • Confident, professional classroom manner

  • EWC registration (School Learning Support Worker category) or willingness to apply

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)

  • Reliable transport to travel to RCT schools
