Job description

Become a Local Tutor in BCP with TP Tutors

Are you based in Bournemouth, Christchurch, or Poole and passionate about helping young people succeed?

TP Tutors is looking for flexible, committed individuals with experience in education or youth support to provide 1:1 or small group tuition in Maths, English, or core subjects. Many of our learners benefit from SEND support, so we’re especially keen to hear from those who are open to, or experienced in, working with additional needs.

Role: Local Tutor (SEN/SEND Opportunities Available)

Location: Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole (In-Person or Online) Hours: Part-Time or Full-Time – You choose

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver tailored lessons to help students build confidence and close learning gaps

  • Support learners 1:1 or in small groups, including those with SEND

  • Work locally across BCP or from home via online sessions

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experienced tutors, TAs, mentors, or education professionals (no QTS required)

  • Confident teaching primary or secondary learners

  • Based in BCP, able to travel locally or teach online

  • Positive, reliable, and passionate about helping students succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
