Tutor required - Burton upon Trent

Teaching Personnel are looking for a 1:1 tutor who can support a Y11 pupil in her care home in Burton upon Trent. 

This pupil requires 1:1 tuition for Maths and English (low level) for 2.5 hours per day starting after February half term.

Our most successful tutors have the following skills, experience, and personality traits:

  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Experienced teaching 1:1 
  • Enthusiastic graduates of English, Maths or Science
  • Experienced private tutors with a minimum of 1-year experience
  • Confident to differentiate to a broad range of pupil needs, abilities, and personalities
  • Experienced working with low ability students or those who present with SEN
  • Confident to manage any challenging behaviour and able to re-engage hard to reach learners
  • Able to plan and effectively deliver all your own learning materials
  • Competent at providing detailed feedback and progress reports to track the progress of students both academically and socially
  • Proven track record of being able to raise student attainment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
