Are you a Fully Qualified or FE Teacher based in the Nottinghamshire area? Are you looking for a new challenge and a rewarding role to make a difference with hard to reach young people?

We are looking for Teachers and Tutors who want to undertake 1:1 work with vulnerable pupils, many who have Special Educational Needs.

The roles we currently have available are based in:

• Hucknall
• Arnold
• Mapperley
• Newark

The roles we have are flexible and varied, bespoke to every child's specific needs. We work with a variety of LEA teams and provide either short term or long term tuition requirements for children without a school place.

We also provide tuition for children who are on part time rolls at Alternative Provisions, so our tutors will offer sessions on a part time basis to ensure that students receive their full time statutory education entitlements.

We are looking for tutors with any of the following experience and personality traits:

• Work experience with children who present with Attachment Disorder
• Experienced working with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties
• Confident to manage challenging behaviour where appropriate
• Able to work with Multi-Disciplinary teams including Social Workers, Residential home staff, SENCOS and Psychologists
• Resilient
• Confident
• Persistent and understanding of the nature of working with children who have experienced trauma
• Approachable and able to build up positive relatioships with hard to reach young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
