Maths and English Tutor required
As per referrals through Local Authorities, Tutors are required in Cheshire and South Manchester to provide Core Subject lessons to young people not currently accessing mainstream Education.
Students may have additional needs, currently be in the care system or have recently migrated to the UK so flexibility and pragmatism is advised for tutors who apply.
Referrals are usually between 1-3 hours per week day, but can be varied depending on the needs of the student. You must be flexible to tutor within daytime hours and able to transport yourself to the referral address.
Tuition is GBP20-25 per hour and resources are not provided but can be claimed back.
To be successful in your application you must;
- Have Teaching or Tuition experience
- Up to date knowledge of Maths and English up to GCSE Level
- Be adept at building rapport
- Comfortable and confident in supporting SEN and Behaviour needs
