The opportunity to support students who are currently out of school

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for tutors who are able to support students with their education whilst they are out of school. Many students will be looked after children who have additional needs such as SEMH, Autism and SLCN. Although the successful person does not need to be a fully qualified teacher, you will have to have experience teaching core curriculum subjects with a specific age group and will need to be able to adapt subjects to accommodate for the different levels and abilities of each student.

Tuition sessions will normally last for 2 hours and would take place in an agreed location such as the child's home, public library or local school, depending on the situation. All tutors will be fully briefed on the needs of the students and the subjects that they will be required to cover, although you will be expected to plan and prepare to subject material.

People with experience of speech and language therapy, occupational therapy and teaching English as a second language are also encouraged to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
