Flexible SEN Tutor – Reading
£20–£30 per hour | All Subject Specialists Welcome | Start ASAP

Are you a passionate tutor with experience supporting students with special educational needs (SEN)?
Do you believe in personalised, flexible learning that meets each student where they are?

We’re looking for dedicated Tutors in the Reading area to join our team and provide 1:1 or small group support to students across a range of subjects and needs.

About the Role:

This is a flexible tutoring position where you will work with students in various settings – this could be in the student’s home, a school, or a local community venue. You will work closely with each learner to assess, plan, and deliver a tailored scheme of work that suits their individual needs, learning style, and pace.

We Welcome All Subject Specialists:

Whether your expertise is in Maths, English, Science, or another subject area, we want to hear from you—especially if you have experience working with learners with SEN.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience supporting students with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, SEMH)

  • Ability to assess student needs and plan personalised lessons

  • Strong subject knowledge in your area of specialism

  • Patient, empathetic, and adaptable teaching style

  • Confident delivering lessons in a variety of environments (home, school, local venues)

  • Teaching qualification is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
