Job description

Create Meaningful Change Through Education – SEN Tutor (Blandford Forum)

TP Tutors is currently recruiting compassionate SEN Tutors in Blandford Forum to deliver personalised, one-to-one tuition for students who require a more flexible and individualised education.

Role: SEN Tutor
Location: Blandford Forum and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible (part-time and full-time available)

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver tailored lessons based on individual learning needs
  • Support students with additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Build positive, consistent relationships that support engagement
  • Adjust teaching styles to suit each student’s pace and preferences
  • Deliver sessions within home or community-based environments

About You

  • Experience working with children or young people in any relevant setting
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust
  • Patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach
  • Willingness to travel locally within Blandford Forum
  • Awareness of safeguarding and child protection procedures

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
