Teaching Personnel are looking for aspiring Teaching Assistants to take part in our new trainee TA scheme…

As part of this Trainee Teaching Assistant scheme, you will develop skills in behaviour management, support for additional needs and working with children whilst completing a Full or Part Time paid placement in a local primary or secondary school.

The school are looking for someone with a passion for working with young people to support their pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis. You will receive full training and continuous development throughout your role, supported by an experienced and friendly team of TAs and the Special Needs Co-ordinators.

 

Role Details and Requirements:

-          Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 3:30

-          Full time

-          Starting January 2024

-          Pay from £11.85/hr.

-          Long term role, with progression and additional training opportunities.

** An Enhanced Child Only DBS, as well as registration with the EWC, will be required for this role. Support will be provided obtaining these and throughout the vetting process. **

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
