Textiles Teacher – Teesside
Location: Teesside | Contract: Ad-hoc
Teaching Personnel
Are you a creative and dedicated Textiles Teacher with a passion for inspiring the next generation of designers? Teaching Personnel is working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Teesside to recruit a skilled and enthusiastic Textiles specialist to join their Design & Technology department from September 2025.
The Role:
- Teach Textiles across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan and deliver engaging, practical lessons that foster creativity and technical skills
- Prepare students for GCSE assessments and coursework
- Contribute to the wider DT department and school community
- Ensure a safe and productive working environment in the classroom and workshop
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or relevant teaching qualification
- Specialism or strong experience in teaching Textiles
- A flair for design, innovation, and hands-on learning
- Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
- A commitment to student progress and well-being
