Are you a creative and dedicated Textiles Teacher with a passion for inspiring the next generation of designers? Teaching Personnel is working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Teesside to recruit a skilled and enthusiastic Textiles specialist to join their Design & Technology department from September 2025.

The Role:

• Teach Textiles across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Plan and deliver engaging, practical lessons that foster creativity and technical skills
• Prepare students for GCSE assessments and coursework
• Contribute to the wider DT department and school community
• Ensure a safe and productive working environment in the classroom and workshop

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or relevant teaching qualification
• Specialism or strong experience in teaching Textiles
• A flair for design, innovation, and hands-on learning
• Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
• A commitment to student progress and well-being
