Our highly reputable secondary school based in the Altrincham area of Trafford is looking for a Textiles teacher to start with them in January 2019. The successful Textiles teacher is required to start at the beginning of the term for 1 term until Easter in the first instance. There is a high probability that this will also continue for the summer term until the end of the academic year.

The qualified Textiles specialist will be specifically teaching Textiles at KS3 and KS4 up to GCSE level and will be expected to take on planning and marking responsibilities whilst teaching at school. The school is greatly respected in the area of Trafford with students being highly engaged in their learning as well as teachers and parents alike praising the school highly.

Highlights of this Textiles teaching position:

  • Pay will be pro-rata and depend upon teacher's payscale
  • Full time Textiles teaching position; starting January 2019
  • Definitely 1 term until Easter, highly likely to be 2 terms until July; for the remainder of the school year

The school is located in the Altrincham area which is easily accessible via the M60 and M56 motorway network. For those on public transport, the school is also easily accessible via the Metrolink tram from the city centre of Manchester, being at the end of the tram line. The school is set in pleasant residential surroundings with a secure, private on site car park.
