Job description

Are you passionate about supporting young students in education?

We are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants based across Stoke-on-Trent. Whether you’ve recently started your career in education, or a HLTA looking for a new role, we’d love to hear from you!

About the role:

  • Part-time and full-time roles available upon registration
  • Competitive daily pay rate (based off experience)
  • Short-term and long-term roles

As a Teaching Assistant, you may be working 1-1 or in small groups with students who require additional learning, behavioural and emotional support. This may include subject specific interventions with individualised learning plans, or general behavioural support within the classroom. You will work closely with class teachers and parents/carers to provide updates when necessary.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with young people in any environment
  • Experience supporting special educational needs for SEN roles
  • A calm and empathetic approach to behaviour management
  • A genuine passion for supporting young learners
  • Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
