Teaching Assistants required

• Participate in all aspects of the management and improvement of Student Behaviour and the prevention of poor behaviour
• Work collaboratively in a team of Behaviour Mentors
• Be a mentor and Personal Adviser to students
• Keep parents/carers informed of their child's behaviour and build positive relationships with parents/carers
• Help to maintain files and data used within the behaviour administration systems
• Reward good behaviour and challenge/take action on poor behaviour
• Support teaching/ support staff in maintaining discipline & following up incidents
• Develop a clear understanding of the specific needs of identified EAL/SEN pupils
• Provide support to EAL/SEN pupils' learning in the most effective way both in English and their home language where appropriate.
• Encourage pupils to interact and work co-operatively, ensuring all pupils are engaged in activates

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
