These settings support pupils with a range of learning, social, and behavioural needs, and they rely on adults who can bring calm authority, confidence, and consistency into the classroom.

This is a hands-on, active role — ideal for individuals who thrive in energetic environments and aren’t afraid to step up. Whether your background is in education, childcare, youth work, care, sports coaching, or behaviour support, your ability to engage pupils, manage behaviour, and stay resilient under pressure will be key.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Supporting pupils with complex academic, emotional, and behavioural needs

  • Helping deliver structured, personalised behaviour and learning strategies

  • Assisting with literacy, numeracy, and classroom activities

  • Managing challenging behaviour using clear boundaries and calm communication

  • Creating a safe, structured, and purposeful learning environment

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Is confident in high-energy, high-pressure school settings

  • Has strong behaviour-management instincts and classroom presence

  • Remains calm, resilient, and solution-focused

  • Is flexible, reliable, and proactive

  • Builds positive, respectful relationships with students and staff

Please note: A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are mandatory for this role.

What You’ll Get in Return:

  • Access to Teaching Personnel’s CPD Academy, including accredited training

  • Competitive weekly pay, reflective of experience and performance

  • Simple online systems for timesheets and communication

  • Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant who understands the role

If you’re ready to step into a challenging but highly rewarding role where your presence can genuinely change outcomes for young people, apply today and start making a difference across Greater Norwich.
