Teaching Assistant required in Morecambe and surrounding areas

Locations: Morecambe, Heysham, Carnforth, and nearby areas
Start Date: 23rd February 2026
Competitive Hourly Rate: £13.75 – £14.50
Supply roles – full-time and part-time available

Teaching Personnel are working with a range of ‘GOOD’ and ‘OUTSTANDING’ Primary Schools across Morecambe and surrounding areas who are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants, including Early Years specialists, to join their teams on a supply basis. These roles offer the chance to support pupils’ learning and development while gaining valuable experience across different school environments.

About the Roles

Positions available in EYFS, KS1, and KS2
Full-time and part-time supply work starting 23rd February 2026
Opportunities to assist with phonics, classroom activities, and SEN support
Temporary roles with potential for school-based contracts

✔ Previous experience in education or care roles is advantageous
✔ Reliable, adaptable individuals who thrive in a team environment
✔ Experience in Early Years or SEN support is desirable
