Teaching Assistant required in Morecambe and surrounding areas
Locations: Morecambe, Heysham, Carnforth, and nearby areas
Start Date: 23rd February 2026
Competitive Hourly Rate: £13.75 – £14.50
Supply roles – full-time and part-time available
Teaching Personnel are working with a range of ‘GOOD’ and ‘OUTSTANDING’ Primary Schools across Morecambe and surrounding areas who are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants, including Early Years specialists, to join their teams on a supply basis. These roles offer the chance to support pupils’ learning and development while gaining valuable experience across different school environments.
About the Roles
- Positions available in EYFS, KS1, and KS2
- Full-time and part-time supply work starting 23rd February 2026
- Opportunities to assist with phonics, classroom activities, and SEN support
- Temporary roles with potential for school-based contracts

✔ A genuine passion for supporting children’s education and wellbeing
✔ Previous experience in education or care roles is advantageous
✔ Reliable, adaptable individuals who thrive in a team environment
✔ Experience in Early Years or SEN support is desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
