Teaching Assistant required.
Location: Lancashire (various primary schools)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Full-time (with potential for long-term opportunities)
Pay: Competitive rates, paid weekly via PAYE
About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Teaching Support Staff in local primary schools. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including behavioural challenges, SEMH (Social, Emotional, Mental Health) needs, and autism.
You will work closely with the school’s SENDCO and SEN team, delivering tailored interventions and providing 1:1 or small-group support to help pupils thrive both academically and socially.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally with SEN or behavioural needs.
- Ability to adapt your approach to meet individual needs.
- Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, patient manner.
- Commitment to supporting pupils in a positive and inclusive environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
