Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants for a school in Wythenshawe that caters for pupils aged 11-19 with Complex Cognitive Difficulties. This school has a population of only a 100 pupils in order to provide the very service to its pupils, and their achievement can be seen in the fact that their first OFSTED report (2019) was graded as Outstanding in all areas. The school has achieved this through a personalised curriculum for its pupils, which prepares them not only for further education but all aspects of adult life, including home management and their careers. This was possible through the schools eye for talent, and a result a successful candidate would have the following:

• A warm and friendly personality
• Experience of working with children with SEN
• A passion and dedication to working with young people

Your role at the school would be to assist the class teacher and possibly support other TA's in the room throughout the school day. Your main duties will include helping pupils with their work, assistance in group work activities, providing an alternative environment for the pupils to work to promote the pupils progress and help them reach their full potential.
