Teaching Assistant – Immediate Opportunities in Tiverton, Devon!

About the Role

We are currently recruiting committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work within our partner schools across Tiverton. These schools pride themselves on providing a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere, supporting children with a wide range of needs to help them flourish both academically and personally. You’ll be joining a supportive team of staff who are dedicated to creating meaningful learning experiences for all students.

Key Information

  • Start Date: ASAP – flexible start dates available
  • Contract Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Perm – with the potential to secure a permanent position
  • Pay Rate: £90–£105 per day (experience dependent)

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Providing personalised support to help students feel confident, engaged, and ready to learn
  • Assisting teachers in delivering tailored learning plans
  • Helping to create a calm, safe, and supportive classroom environment
  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to support each child holistically

  • Experience in education, childcare, or care work (beneficial but not mandatory)
  • Strong communication, patience, and a positive attitude
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
  • A willingness to undertake training and grow your skillset

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
