Teaching Personnel work with several schools in the Trafford area, many of which are PRU's. Many of these PRU's work on a behaviour support scheme which introduces a teaching assistant to a class to particularly focus on improving behaviour with certain groups of pupils.
Sometimes this requires working one-to-one or with a small group of pupils, as well as working to generally supports the class. A school in Trafford are currently looking for teaching assistants to work one-to-one with small groups of pupils, as well as working to generally support the class.
This position is specifically for a candidate that has experience dealing with pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health challenges that lead to challenging behaviour. The ideal candidate would be Team Teach trained. Experience working as a one-to-one teaching assistant would be beneficial, as well as experience as a general teaching assistant.
Ideal applicants would have their own transport and be happy travelling around Trafford if necessary.
Rates for this role are £9.50 per hour!
