Location: Salisbury & surrounding areas
Start Date: Immediate / Flexible
Hours: Part-time & Flexible working options available

A welcoming, purpose-built specialist school in the Salisbury area is seeking part‑time and flexible SEN Teaching Assistants to join their dedicated team.

 

The Role

You will support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality learning experiences for children and young people across the ages 5-16 years old who have a range of additional needs, such as:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Social, Emotional & Mental Health Needs (SEMH)
  • Physical or Sensory Disabilities
  • Generalised or Challenging Behaviour

Who We Are Looking For

  • Patient, resilient, compassionate, and consistent
  • Experienced with SEND (in school or within care/community settings)
  • Confident working collaboratively with teachers and support staff
  • Familiar with positive behaviour support techniques
  • Able to remain calm and effective when de-escalating challenging situations

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
