A welcoming, purpose-built specialist school in the Salisbury area is seeking part‑time and flexible SEN Teaching Assistants to join their dedicated team.
The Role
You will support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality learning experiences for children and young people across the ages 5-16 years old who have a range of additional needs, such as:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Social, Emotional & Mental Health Needs (SEMH)
- Physical or Sensory Disabilities
- Generalised or Challenging Behaviour

- Patient, resilient, compassionate, and consistent
- Experienced with SEND (in school or within care/community settings)
- Confident working collaboratively with teachers and support staff
- Familiar with positive behaviour support techniques
- Able to remain calm and effective when de-escalating challenging situations

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
