Teaching Personnel is currently seeking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a well-regarded Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Basingstoke. This rewarding position offers the opportunity to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and communication challenges.
Key Responsibilities:

Support students with special educational needs in accessing the curriculum

Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals to deliver personalised learning and care plans

Assist with classroom activities, individual learning tasks, and sensory-based interventions
-
Promote a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for all pupils

Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

Hourly Pay Rate: £13.75

Location: Basingstoke
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience supporting children or young people, ideally within an SEN or care environment

A patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic approach to supporting pupils with diverse needs

Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (or current registration with the Update Service)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
