Teaching Personnel is currently seeking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a well-regarded Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Basingstoke. This rewarding position offers the opportunity to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and communication challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students with special educational needs in accessing the curriculum

• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals to deliver personalised learning and care plans

• Assist with classroom activities, individual learning tasks, and sensory-based interventions

• Promote a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for all pupils

Role Details:

• Start Date: September 

• Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

• Hourly Pay Rate: £13.75

• Location: Basingstoke

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience supporting children or young people, ideally within an SEN or care environment

• A patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic approach to supporting pupils with diverse needs

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

• Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (or current registration with the Update Service)
