Teaching Assistant - SEN Experience Needed - Christchurch

We are currently recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil with Autism and challenging behaviour in a local primary school in Christchurch.

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a school in Christchurch, who are seeking a Learning Support Assistant who can enthuse, motivate and engage students in a rewarding environment. This is a large school who are looking for a committed and successful LSA to join their successful team. The successful applicant will have excellent knowledge of working with children in Early Years, KS1 or KS2, and ideally will have worked on a small group basis across each both key stages.

This role will involve working with children delivering interventions in Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. You will be able to work closely with the classroom teacher to plan innovative and engaging lessons that will meet the needs of children with a variety of abilities. This is a great opportunity to join the school and become part of its committed school team.

To be considered for the position of Learning Support Assistant you must:

  • Have experience supporting children in primary education in Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Primary School Staff
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
