Bolton based secondary school looking for teaching assistants to join their school.

- Full time and part time teaching assistant positions
- Providing support in classes and additional tuition to pupils in a range of different subjects; English, Maths and Science
- Earn up to £325 per week
Due to an increase in pupils who require additional support within their studies, this secondary school are able to offer a number of temporary teaching assistant opportunities. The school wish to appoint teaching assistants who hold previous experience supporting the learning of secondary aged pupils or graduates (Maths, English or Science ideally) who are looking to gain further experience prior to beginning a teacher training programme.
Within this role you will be required to support within their studies due to various learning difficulties. You will work with small groups of pupils and run tuition workshops to reinforce learning. Your role as a teaching assistant will involve supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis, whilst also providing small group support and general classroom support across KS3 and 4 classes.
Located in Bolton, the school is just a short drive from the M61 motorway. Access is straight forward from the surrounding areas; Wigan, Bury, Salford and Manchester due to strong public transport links. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
