SEN Teaching Assistants required in Salisbury, Wiltshire

Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a day community school for children with; Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Low-functioning Autism (ASD) and Complex Learning Difficulties. The school can cater for up to 133 students between the ages of 2-19.

The position of special needs teaching assistant is challenging but rewarding and will require you to work both alongside teachers and other education professionals as well as independently, under teachers' direction, supporting the work of groups of children and individuals. Duties are varied, depending on the age and special needs of the pupils concerned.

We are looking to appoint additional highly motivated, resilient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join a team of dedicated staff. Previous experience of working with children with additional needs in a school setting is essential.

It would be beneficial if you have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

We will consider full time and part time applicants as well as those that are looking for supply work, that can start ASAP or in September.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
