Teaching Assistant required in Leyland!

Are you a Teaching Assistant with experience supporting pupils with behavioural difficulties and SEMH difficulties?

If so, Teaching Personnel work closely with a Leyland based school which caters for KS3/4 pupils who have behavioural difficulties, SEMH difficulties, Autism and pupils who cannot remain in mainstream education for various reasons.

The School currently have approximately 55 male pupils on roll and many of the pupils display particularly difficult behaviours, they can often be violent or aggressive towards other pupils or members of staff. The School is based in the Preston area with close links to the M61 and M6 Motorway and there is ample on site parking.

The candidate must have experience supporting pupils with SEMH difficulties and challenging behaviours and the candidate must be seeking a full time role. The candidate will be hard working, efficient, flexible and will ideally hold their Team Teach certificate.

The role will start after the half term and you may be expected to work one voluntary day in School prior to the role starting.

* Negotiable pay rates £50.44 - 59 per day

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
