Teaching Assistant required in Burnley!

Are you a Teaching Assistant seeking work in the East Lancashire area?

If so, Teaching Personnel are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work specifically in a Burnley based SEN School. The School caters for pupils with a range of difficulties including Autism, ADHD, Physical Disabilities and PMLD. The School is larger than average for an SEN School. The School caters for KS3/4 pupils and there are some pupils within the FE Department.

The candidate must have experience supporting pupils with SEN and be willing to work with some challenging behaviours. The candidate must also be flexible and adaptable because the role may start on an ad-hoc basis before becoming a long term, full time role.

The role will start after the February half term and candidates must be in a position to accept work either the night before or on the morning as the School want a fairly quick turn around. The candidate must also have a good work ethic and be willing to work with pupils who need a lot of support both academically and physically - personal care will be required!

* Negotiable pay rates £50.44 - 55 per day
