Teaching Assistant required in Accrington

Are you a Support Assistant with experience working with pupils who display challenging behaviours?

Teaching Personnel work closely with an Accrington based School which provides education and support for pupils with SEMH difficulties and pupils who display challenging behaviours. The School is based within a close proximity to the M65 motorway and has access to public transport. The School is smaller than average and caters for pupils from KS1-KS4 and they are seeking a Support Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis.

The School are currently undergoing an expansion phase and will potentially be looking for between 3-5 members of staff and the positions will likely become a permanent contract with the School. The School will however expect you to do one free trial day in school on a voluntary basis so they can ascertain your suitability for a long term position.

The candidate must have experience supporting pupils with SEN and/or pupils who display challenging behaviours and the candidate must be looking for a long term position but have the flexibility to initially work on a more ad-hoc basis.
