Teaching Personnel is working closely with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools across the BB8 area, all seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their teams from September. These schools are committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to achieve their full potential.


The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils' learning and development, helping to create a positive and engaging classroom environment.

✔ Support teachers in delivering creative and engaging lessons

✔ Work with small groups and individual pupils to boost learning and confidence

✔ Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment

✔ Support pupils with a range of learning needs and abilities

✔ Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessons

✔ Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

✔ Contribute to the wider life of the school community


✅ What We're Looking For

We are seeking a caring, proactive, and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about supporting children's education:

• Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare, or similar setting

• Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND or EAL is advantageous

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A patient, flexible, and positive attitude

• Confidence working both independently and as part of a team

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
