If you have experience supporting pupils as a teaching assistant in Primary, Secondary or in SEN schools and are looking for a position that will compliment and reward your skill set - this role may be of interest to you.
A fantastic Primary school located in Kings Lynn are looking for a Teaching Assistant to take on a supporting role in a year 6 class in order to provide additional support to pupils who are struggling to match the levels of their piers.
The role is full time, working on both a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils and is expected to last until the end of the academic year. In your role, you will be expected to monitor and assess the progress of pupils and assist in their progression through learning. You will also need to offer general support and aid in the overall running of the class alongside the class teacher.
If you have:
- Prior Teaching Assistant Experience
- Completed training courses relevant to a career in education such as: Prevent Training, Safeguarding, Child Protection
- NVQ Level 3 - Relevant to working within schools
- Experience offering 1:1 support to SEN pupils with challenging behaviour
