TEACHING ASSISTANT

A comprehensive secondary school in the Slough area are looking to hire a Teaching Assistant to join their team following the Easter break (19/04/2021). Successful candidates will be given the chance to experience several different roles within the school but will primarily support students across all Key Stages. Ideally, looking for a candidate with previous Teaching Assistant experience working with or have knowledge of SEN.

Key features of a Teaching Assistant post:

• Someone who is resilient, good interpersonal skills and can handle challenging situations.
• Experience as a Teaching Assistant, SEN Teaching Assistant or Tutor.
• Have or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
• The ability to motivate pupils to achieve their educational attainment
• Supporting students in class under the guidance of the teacher
• Implementing classroom behaviour policies
• Must have experience of working with young people and will have had experience of working within the education or healthcare sector and with multi-agencies.
• Residing in the UK or have a UK address you are moving to in the near future to comply with the DBS requirements
