Learning Support Assistants Required in Milton Keynes
Have you got a passion for support young people? Do you have an interest in working with children with complex needs?
Teaching Personnel are seeking experienced Learning Support Assistants on behalf of our Secondary Clients in the Milton Keynes area. We work with a number of established secondary schools to support their SEN divisions with 1:1 LSA's, Mentors, Tutors and Teaching Assistants, who are always open to finding their next best support staff member.
We would seek candidates who are experienced working with SEND students or be willing to. LSA's would have the opportunity to work with SEND students with varying needs, such as ASD, ADHD, MLD, SLD, LD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ASPG. The age ranges from Year 7 to Year 11 (12-16) and you may be supporting them across all subject areas.

The ideal candidate will possess:
- At least 6 months experience within the last 3 years supporting children in this age bracket
- Experience across SEND students
- Knowledgable of Safeguarding and be willing to complete training
- Confident, can work on your own or part of a team
- Able to provide contacts to obtain 2 references from the last 6 years, including 2 most recent places of work and all education based
- Willing to work 1:1 or in small groups to enhance academic and social development
- Strong communication skills
- Positive attitude and proactive role model to young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
