Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are looking for Teaching Assistants to work in schools in East Sussex.

We are recruiting for the following roles:

• Day to day supply Teaching Assistants
• SEN support in mainstream schools
• 1:1 intervention roles e.g. SATs support, booster sessions, numeracy/literacy support
• Individual needs- working 1:1 with children with Autism, Social Emotional and Mental Health Challenges and Challenging Behaviour.

Do you have….

• Experience working with children in a classroom or similar environment?
• A desire to gain experience working in primary schools?
• Am enhanced, Child Only DBS on the Update Service? (Desired but not essential at this stage)
• A strong sense of empathy with a patient and understanding approach?
• A genuine passion to help children from all backgrounds to achieve their very best?
• Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs?
• Experience as a support worker, mental health support assistant or similar role?

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
