Teaching Assistant

Job description

A Specialist School in the Gainsborough area is currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to support across their Primary and Secondary classes. The classes include students with Autism, ADHD, Moderate Learning Difficulties and Engagement Difficulties, therefore the successful candidate must have experience of, or be willing to carry out Team Teach training.

The ideal candidate must have experience, or a strong understanding of complex needs and Autism. This can be from any of the following backgrounds:

- Support work in Schools
- Support work in Care
- Supporting adults with Special Needs
- Youth Work
- Psychologist 
- Sports Coaching
- Nursing / Medical background

The role is full time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
