Here at Teaching Personnel we are actively recruiting for a Teaching Assistant which could also step up to a Cover Supervisor role to work within the Ammanford area. You will be responsible for mentoring young adults in a Secondary School Environment. Confident and experienced individuals are preferred, but if you have a can-do attitude and willing to learn then this will go a long way.

What to expect?:

-          We need an individual looking to act as a Teaching Assistant to young adults and provide additional support as and when required.

-          Holds good subject knowledge or confidence in delivering pre-planned work and has the ability to keep young adults engaged and enthusiastic about Education.

-          Has a confident presence which has good classroom management

-          Will bring experience to the role, whether that be directly from working in or a school or with the use of transferable skills

To apply for this role you’ll need to be a confident individual with excellent classroom management skills, as you’ll often be managing a class of 20-30 pupils and ensuring that the tasks and work set is completed. Teaching Personnel are looking for individuals which are looking to go the extra mile and have a true passion for making a difference!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
