GBP60.00 - GBP65.00 per day, depending on experience

Teaching Personnel is seeking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant / SEN Teaching Assistant / SEND Learning Support Assistant / SEND LSA / SEN LSA to join our committed and friendly learning support team to work in Schools across York and the surround area
The role

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant / SEN Teaching Assistant / SEND Learning Support Assistant / SEND LSA / SEN LSA will have experience working with SEND pupils in a Secondary setting and ideally hold a HLTA or TA qualifications. You will be expected to support the classroom teacher with daily activities that will meet the needs of children with various learning abilities.


Requirements

To be considered for the SEND Teaching Assistant / SEN Teaching Assistant / SEND Learning Support Assistant / SEND LSA / SEN LSA position, you will:

* Have experience working with children with special educational needs including but not exclusively MLD, PMLD, ASD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, and Down Syndrome
* A good understanding of SEND within a Secondary school setting
* Ideally (but not essential) hold a TA or HLTA qualification
* Have a passionate and genuine desire to become part of a dedicated team of school staff
