Early Years Teaching Assistant 

A mainstream Primary School in L37, Formby are searching for a Teaching Assistant to work in their Early Years classrooms

The role is set to start in December 2020 until the end of the academic year. You will be working with either the Nursery Teacher or Reception Teacher, supporting the classroom and assisting pupils with their learning. There is also a high percentage of pupils with SEN (Special Educational Needs) within the classrooms so experience working with children with autism, ADHD or learning difficulties would be ideal 

The ideal person will have experience working with Nursery or Reception aged children and be confident with personal care if needed. You will also be responsible for upholding safeguarding procedures and ensuring children are safe at all times

The role:

• Start Date: December 2020
• Full time, long term 
• GBP10 - GBP11 per hour earnings 
• Formby area (L37)
• Early Years 

The School: 

Early years provision is good. Children make good progress in writing and mathematics from their starting points. Parents are very happy with the way that their children are cared for at school. The school works well with parents and a sense of trust is in place in the community.
