A primary school in the Newcastle area is seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant (TA) to work within across both KS1 and KS2. This is a full-time primary support role; which also includes supporting EYFS. Commencing in October 2020 until at least December 2020.
The ideal candidate will have experience working as a teaching assistant as well as planning and delivery of Literacy and Maths interventions to small groups and providing general classroom support.
Role Requirements:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant
- Experienced working with children aged 5-11
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary environment
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
- Hold an advanced Child Only DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
