Job description

A lovely school in Barton is currently recruiting for an experienced 1:1 support assistant to join their team!

The role will involve supporting a pupils aged from 8 - 19 with Autism-Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Challenging Behaviour.

The school is independently funded and has and excellent team of staff. This is something the school is very proud of as it shows their commitment to providing an excellent education to their pupils. The school ethos surrounds the idea of inspiration and providing an exciting curriculum where pupils are challenged to learn more.

You will also benefit from learning from specialists such as: Education Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists and other medical professionals. The school also offers various different training courses conducted both internally and externally to aid you with your development.

Shortlisting criteria include:

  • Experience working with ASC and/or challenging behaviour
  • A willingness and passion to be involved with extra-curricular activities
  • Desire for helping raise pupil attainment
