Job description
Are you a dedicated and passionate individual with a strong background in mathematics? Teaching Personnel are seeking a Learning Support Assistant with expertise in maths to join a secondary school in Levenshulme. As a Maths Specialist Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs, particularly focusing on enhancing their mathematical skills and understanding.
This will be a full-time role with an immediate start.
You will earn a competitive salary between £430 and £520 per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with SEN, specifically focusing on mathematics-related challenges.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualised education plans for students.
- Collaborate with teachers to create engaging and effective learning activities that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Monitor and track student progress in maths, providing feedback to teachers and parents as necessary.
Requirements:
- Strong background in mathematics, ideally with relevant qualifications or experience.
- Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Full-time availability during school hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
