Teaching Personnel are currently seeking Teaching Assistants in the Portsmouth area!
We are looking for candidates who are willing to work 1-1 and in small groups, to mentor and work alongside KS1 and KS2 students to help them succeed in both their studies as well as offering support in their personal lives. Schools in and around Portsmouth maintain high standards consistently and this is often reflected in Ofsted results. We welcome teaching assistants with various levels of experience and encourage anyone seeking a new challenge to apply for these roles.
The perfect candidate will have:
- Previous experience of meeting young people's Social Emotional and Mental Health Needs would be desirable however this role often relies on having a great attitude towards supporting individual and varying needs.
- Previous experience with children aged between 5-11 is essential.
- A passion to make a positive difference in a young person's life.
- Any experience with Special Educational Needs is desired but not essential.
